Can I flash my V3T with V3i firmware?

I recently purchased a V3T from Rogers.
It comes with:
Flex: GSPV3IRGRS01NA147
S/W: R479_G_08.B5.3DR
LANG: 0B4E

My computer recognize it as V3I.

Could some body confirm if I can use a V3I software to flash it and turn it into a V3i, all I wanted is to be able to use itune to play back music.

I dont see why you couldnt. Its a regular V3i with Digital Audio Player. You cant put iTunes on it, because iTunes is R47A and will brick your phone.
