I don't know if this has been posted but, recently i've been getting bad reception, sometimes it even drops the line. I'm not anywhere different (in my own room when i make/receive calls) but its been like, 2-3 out of 5 reception bars. It wasn't like this about 2 weeks ago. Anyone know how to fix?
Thanks

Ok I know im going back to an old post but my v3 is giving me the sh**s. I followed the link that candymanmike supplied and did the change. However i still get really bad signals. I mean like, I look around and other people are on the phone and I look at mine which shows no signal. Can anyone help with my problem by telling me what's wrong with it or solution to fix it. Other than that i may need to buy a new phone :shots:

have you tried messing with the antenna? i don't really remember how it's connected to the mother board. but it may be an antenna issue.

A friend of mine had a SonyEricsson (dunno the model). The burnt it, smashed it, it was ran over by a bus, we kicked it like penalties, etc...
It still works (the case is completely wrecked, but the system still works fine...)

Don't think the V3 is that durable. Guess I should just start looking for a new phone.

To check if its an antenna issue, you go near a phone tower, if signal increases, its most likely hardware related. Otherwise flash the MP again and undo all changes in software since first load by that.
