mma_ucp and v3m

I have a v3m and I want to convert some of the themes for the GSM V3. I see mention of mma_ucp which I gather to be some sort of menu order file, but can a v3m with Alltel firmware use them? Does anyone know if there is anything else that goes into converting the 176x220 skins? or is it just the buttons?

well I used a skin once thst changed the menu items, but I didn't change the mma. it was the hello kitty skin from darklodge.com (the link is in the guides, the skin guidesy) I was just testing it to upload it to this site, nbut mnot all the menu icons changed. just some, it was weird. nobody has done much research into mma editing on the cdma phones, you should check out that skin
