I installed the oldest version of motorola phone tools version 4.0 something (i know thats old) i had it for awhile now. For some strange reason it actually installed in my laptop with windows vista in it. I could make a ringtone but i cant transfer it to my fone. i know this version is not compatible with vista. Shall i just wait until it is updated to 4.5 or vista compatible? can i get an answer as soon as possible. Its kinda irritating me right now. haha talk about impatient.

why don't you just run the update? it has a free lifetime update.

well mpt shows in the programs on my menu. when i go to it, it give me 3 options "motorola live update" "motorola phone tools" and "user guide". so if it's in your start menu, that options should be there. if not, i would go look in your programs folder for the motorola folder and see if it's in there.

If an update won't fix it. Try using another version.
