This is the basis for my own MP. Great stuff. All the hard work is done for you. Just throw a couple skins and ringtones on it, backup cg2, recompile and instant custom mp :thumbsup:

Hello all. Newbie here. I have one of the new V3R tmobile phones and was wondering if this could be installed easily on it. I love the menu screens, etc. Also, what tool do I need to be able to flash the phone if it will work.

Nope this isnt going to work on a V3r. Close as you can come is by doing the mods yourself and installing the skin. Sorry!

hi again this a great looking MP my phone was on orange but I paid to have it unlocked and i am now using Tmobile is this what I need and Im still not sure how to get it on my phone any help much appreciated.

This will work, the websessions are one the phone, you'll just need to select the one you need as default. Then you will need to input your MMS settings if you do picture/MMS messaging.

Edogg, this will work for you. You need to find RSD Lite (google) to flash it to your phone. I cannot give you a link as it is warez.

I have a question though, how you enable the Bluetooth Light? I like it, when ever I put it to charge it flashes. I am using a normal flex from T-Mobile right now, from all that bricking (:P).

Just replace the funlight.pat with a modded one, I can post it if you need it. Then you must have event lights enabled.

hi thanx sorry about all the questions just got carried away im so excited just found i have 2 tails and us dogs just love too wag. I found the guides and I think I have the required software now. I dont understand what warez is but found software on Utorrent search.

Hi I have just flashed my v3 with apristel's tmobile monsterpack and now the only key that works is the power key. it just brings the screen on but only for 30secs I cant select any menus or dial out please help my phone is useless now.

Hi found the flash for locked keys but now my phone book is empty the sim card has the numbers on but the phone doesnot display them any help for a confused newbie would be appreciated also the web browser wont launch i get network not available

If you have Mobile Phone Tools (MPT) you can read all the contacts from your sim/phone. save them as a backup, and replace them all.
MPT is also user friendly for adding ringtones and pictures to your phone. Its a non-modder program. Just for basic maintenance and file transfer / backup.

The phonebook issue... it seems you have lost your contacts. Always be sure to back-up.
The message part... T Mobile has a message configurator. Goodle the following "T-Mobile message configurator" and then when you get to the site...follow the simple directions. That should fix you right up!:google:

go into the audio flder of your phone with P2K Man. delete the two files that end with .db. restart, and your tones should show up!

sorry for the noob question. how do i "toss ringtones" onto the phone. i installed this monsterpack and tried uploading mp3 ringtones through p2k tools. but i cannot find any menu item on the phone where i can chose a ringtone. can anyone help?

As i allready posted, i have same problem, and i was trying to do this but there is no .db files in audio folder. Only funlifgt.pat and my ringtones. How?

hmm have you restarted the phone?

in p2ktools,

click the "fix melody db" button and then restart your phone, see if they work after that.

That file does not exist overthere. I use P2k tools VS and there is only funlight.pat inside. I was even trying pack for cingular and with that pack i don't have problem with ringtones, but to be honest i like this skin and this pack more.

well you could restore the audio directory to stock, that would fix everything, you can do that by going to the downloads and downloading the stock files and then just replace the /audio directory. But, I tell you I and a few others use this MP without a hitch. I think you are just messing up some how. Do you have MPT?

Are you referring to the carrier text? The carrier text is what displays "cingular", "at&t", etc on the home screen. This is actually related to the skin. You can use skiman to display the carrier text.

Thanks I'll look for it..Thats exactly what I was looking for as Igo from Tmobile to Cell One ,sometimes Indigo etc depending on where I am and just wanted to see which network I was on.

Ya, you can use the program "skiman" (available in the downloads section here) to enable the carrier text in the skin.
