It's already avilable as a flex update im MotoX that you simply flash to the phone.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it, as it is also posted in HowardForums, but look it up in the official RIZR Z3 thread.

Edit: I didn't even notice it, but you can find the Funlights and Ringlights flex update in the download section here on this site.

I'm uploading a reflash for R452_G_08.02.09R right now. Give me a few minutes. Reflash it, and your charge light should work.

Make a backup of your 0032_0001 seem and then upload this one. See if it works after that.

What did you use to flash? What did you flash? And most important, did you make a backup?

RSD lite 3.3, the 09R SW that was posted, no - no back up. now its says i have a critical error DEA1

i supposed that means my phone is wrecked?

sebgonz

No. Your phone is not wrecked. Turn it off so it doesn't drain your battery. You'll need it to reflash.
Try turning your phone off and then back on.

careful, next time remember the backup. Use FB3 for the backup and flash with RSD.

hmmm. well ive done that twice now and ive taken out the battery. everytime i try to reflash the t-mobile MP i get a critical error DEA1. after that it reboots and says: PH SIG ERROR: 35:02

is there another program i should use to reflash?

megadeath999

try RSD Lite 3.5,

First of all, stop reflashing things. If your phone is in bootloader mode, you're gonna drain your battery and not be able to recharge it.

Flash a monsterpack with whatever f/w version your phone says there on that sig error screen. It'll probably be the f/w from the reflash. You need to flash the whole monster pack.

BTW that seem worked perfectly, thanks seb!

well it looks like my battery is too low to flash anything. i dont know what you mean by:

"Flash a monsterpack with whatever f/w version your phone says there on that sig error screen. It'll probably be the f/w from the reflash. You need to flash the whole monster pack."

im trying to reflash the original t-mobile MP. so if my battery is low, there is no way to recharge it?

sebgonz

Not unless you have an external charger that doesn't connect to your phone. Something that you can use to just put the battery in and charge it without having it in the phone.

Flash a monsterpack with whatever f/w version your phone says there on that sig error screen. It'll probably be the f/w from the reflash. You need to flash the whole monster pack. What I mean is, there should be a firmware listed there. Something like, R452B_G_08.02.09R. Find a MP in the downloads section that corresponds to the firmware listed on your phone.

BTW that seem worked perfectly, thanks seb!

Glad to hear it mega!

put the battery into another motorola that uses the same type of battery and charge it. when youre in the bootloader, it tells youy what f/w you're running on the phone so im assuming that what seb meant was that you flash the MP you were running before you got yourself into this mess...i think. at least the battery bit is right ;)

gonzales
04-19-2007, 02:54 PM
yeah ive been trying to put the t-mobile MP back on it. it says it has 08R SW on it and the t-mobile MP in the downloads section has that same version. i keep getting an error though. do you think something is screwed because i tried to install 09R and it messed it up?

sebgonz
04-19-2007, 02:58 PM
No. I had 08R on mine and reflashed it to 09R. MegaDeath999 had 05R on his and flashed it to 09R. It's not the reflash. It's worked perfectly more than once.

Your main issue right now is to find a way to recharge your battery. Take it to your T-Mo store and see if they'll do it for you. I had this same issue a while ago. Had to have them charge it.

Flashing your phone drains the battery. At most, you'll have TWO good flashes when flashing a MP on a full battery. After that, it's time to recharge before doing it again.

BTW, the purpose of this thread was funlights. I successfully enabled them. Gonna make a new funlight.pat and get them rollin. :D

check your drawer, have you got any old moto that uses bc50 battery? at least you can turn your phone off and let the battery charge on another phone, then when its fully charged put the battery back in and try again. Simple solution to a complicated problem :D lol

No problem. I'm uploading an MP right now with the 09R firmware. Maybe you can use that when you get your phone charged.
