Two flashing questions - version/DRM

Hello - I am from Minnesota and now own a Moto PEBL.
I am learning about the DRM Icon edits, which seem to be very cool. I've done a lot of seem edits in the past with my V400 and U6, but have never flash/flexed as my carrier does not rape my phone before giving it to me (Moto OEM stuff on it with no carrier logos- yay :D )

My two questions are this:
My current Flash version is:
R478_G_08.84.2AR_A
There is a download available for
R478_G_08.84.2DR_A
Are there worthwhile differences in that version update? It doesn't appear to be a major version update- but it is different. I'm not sure how drasticly improved reflashing your phone can be, and how much a minor version update will effect it. Ultimately, I'm hesitant to reflash it lol -- however, I'll need to soon get over that as:

I am learning to do DRM Icon edits. I noticed in the guides when using ShxCodec you really only modify CG15 out of the SHX file. Are you able to flash only certain parts of the SHX file to your phone (i.e. only send CG15)
Man, I'm sorry if that doesn't make any sense lol... I've just never flash/flexed before as in the past, I have feared "brick status" - but DRM Icon editing makes it worth trying.

It should be unnoticable, unless you are a real stickler for the details. Generally a CG1 flash (reflash)will change minor things, like camera quality and RF, battery life, etc. CG2, the flex, will change easily noticed things like menus, features, etc. As far as flashing individual CGs, it is possible to do with FBU3 if it is unseparated, or with RSD lite if it is a standalone file.

@ttilberg - DRM is just as easy as any other reflash. So long as your
CG15 reflash has the correct boot loader/ram loader included you'll
be fine.
As the PEBL's DRM is all gifs (unlike the razr) modding this is a snap
too. I've got a few pebl cg15's some where if you want some
starting points (can't remember if they're on the downloads page !)
