FB3 Questions

I am navigating through FB3, and since it looks waaaay different than 2.6.2, I am a bit confused on a few things.
Do we no longer have to select a loader for the V3, since the V3 is now available for selection. AND for extracting the flex for my MP, what file format should I select?

any format you want, just select the correct phone, the code group(s) you want to back up and you are good to go.

New dumb question.. which code group, or where would I select to back up only the PDS?

oh the pds eh, not in the normal backup there is a separate area for the pds. I have to get back to my comp and run the program before i can give instructions for that.

Read data from phone, uncheck "cut empty bytes" box, select cg2 and save as smg (bin files).

I downloaded the FB3 eval version. It warns to be sure the P2K drivers are installed. Are these same as installed in "Getting Connected" tutorial?

Also,the download included files regarding patch?
What is PatchFormat-EN.txt telling me?

The "Full Backup" options are for 16 or 32MB. V3 is 32?

In FB3, select the V3 from the dropdown menu, it should automatically select the memory and loader for your phone. The drivers are the same as all of the other P2K programs.
