Mp3 ringtones,not transfareing properly HELP

Well i have p2k comander 3.6.9 and 4.1.1 and always when i try to transfare a mp3 i never compleets,whats wron? sometimes i can listen to it on the media pleayer,but i cant choose it as a ringtone,please what am i missing!
