V3t flashing help semi-noob

Ok, so i just got a V3t, and its got some really dated firmware with a new bootloader ( thanks TMo ) the bootloader is A.52 and the firmware is R344. My problem is i cant find any MP's that have that Bootloader so i cant flash. if i do the phone just hangs at bootloader. So my question is.

Is there a way i can pull the bootloader off my stock V3t MP and and add it to another MP so i can flash my phone???? Or is there a MP out there that has R479 with that bootloader already attached??

I've tried flashing it with a MP with a diffrent bootloader and it doesnt work, tried about 10 diffrent MP's

Hey mate, you cant put R479 in a V3t.

are u sure?? there are people on other moto modding forums that have done it. but they have all had bootloader A.30 or 40, i think its the new V3t's that have the A.52 bootloader

Technically you're very right Archer...But the top sticky of Slimshady's Krazr's MP is running on my V3t as we speak..It's simple really..and it works...Ok to fully explain what I did to make this work...Here goes...First off..I used the trial Flash and Back up...Made a back up of what I thought was a full back up..Being trial...it wouldn't make the full back up...saved it anyway...Then...I took Slim's Krazr MP and opened RSD Lite..Flashed and poof got the same thing...Just kept rebooting to bootloader..So I got curious and gave it a shot...Opened RSD Lite back up...and reflashed with the trial back up I made of the orginal flash...Bam....Slim's MP on my V3t and working normally as it was with original flash..So....I call it stroke of luck...But I did have a full back of my V3t I found from another site..so didn't scare me to much..But there's another mystery I have been reading and trying to solve..But my saying is..if it isn't broke..don't fix it huh...lol...:beerchug:

P.S. I meant to ask archer...could it be because it's R4441D_G_08.01.03R software version?Similar code?Like I said before..I'm still learning..could be n00b luck is on my side..

what would happen if i just flashed a bootloader to my phone? like a.40??

The bootloader ( A.52 ) is keeping people from booting otehr firmware's. It wouldnt make any sense if you couldnt flash V3i firmware to a V3t since there both teh same hardware.

Just got my v3t which I'm happy with. I know literally nothing about modding phones (more so PC's). If you could give me the basics. I want to sort of unbrand my carrier from my phone, especially the outter display. :banghead:

Yes that's very correct...I have it on one of my V3t's as we speak...I even grabbed the MP from Pioneer in the this forum...and flashed with it...Same way I did with Slim's..poof all there....Then went back to original flash to make sure it worked right..Never once changed any bootloaders at all..My bootloader version is 0A.52 S/W Version R3443U5_G_0E.C8.0DR..Hope that helps..

i see. i think V3t has exactly the same CG addresses. only the bootloaders that matters now.

just got my 1 gb transflash chip. turns out aparently the v3t cant handle more than 512mb. anyone can prove otherwise?? i was hoping my razr would make ipods useless.... guess not...

You open up your RAZR battery plate in the back and you should see a little area to insert your MicroSD/Transflash card. Once you put it in you should be good to go.

Can some1 pls help me? I have a t-mobile V3t, my firmware is R344, every MP i try to flash, keeps failing, i don't know what to do... without getting this done, my modding is impossible...pls help

btw the blue razr is crap DO NOT BUY IT.
- broke the first week, had to crazy glue it together ,. pos.
- no mp3 player
- no expansion slot
- crappy camera
- cant even transfer pics
- takes an arms and a leg just to save it.... gawd
