Is there anyway of "extract" files from the file?; that's because I've configurated my 46p and I like it a lot now :), and I don't want to do that again... :wave:... but I want the default-ringtones :clap:...

I tried to obtain a backup of my phone's firmware using the GetOS script by ilove3d, which makes 5 .smg files with a total size of aprox. 43.2MB.

The firmware that you posted here has a size of 70MB. Is this the correct size of the firmware, or I'm missing some steps (or maybe I did it wrong...:confused13: ) How do you obtain the whole firmware??? Can you help me?

get os doesnt extract all the code groups there are code groups from 0 to 18 then from 31 to 41 i think so thats why you dont get the full size backup from the get os, but the smgs that it extracts are suppossed the most important

so, is there a better utility/procedure to obtain all the codegroups from the phone?

At the moment, i'm analizing an utility for the e680 phone that dumps the complete firmware to the memory card.
