Hi peoples! I am trying to do some of the seem edits in "nanoali's" guide.Specifically,......" So, to change it, just edit seem 0032_001
Offset 82 bit 6 - “WAV_UI_AVAILABLE” - “KEYTONE” (check it)
Offset 6D bit 6 - “INTERPRETE_KEY_PRESS_AVAILABLE” (check it)"....
I have not done seem editing before with this program so, after opening the program, clicking "Seem editor" and loading the seem from phone , I see the info below about the seem I.E. ( Bit operations, Binary value, Dec value and Hex value.
I am use to (because of using a different program to seem edit) seeing the "offset number" displayed .
How do I know Im in the right place within the seem?PLEASE be as specific as you can stand to be. I am in the last details I need to do to finish customizing this phone for my brother , after three verrrry long days of it. Maan! Do I want to be DONE, so I can just get outside and go fishing tomorrow;) !

If you'd feel more comfortable, you can do the seem edit in your seem editing program of choice...

U can use XVI32. open the seem there, press CTRL + G, then write the offsets. After doing it, click Tools>Bit Manipulation, and click the bits that nano told you to.

Offset 82, check bit 6
Offset 6D, check bit 6

Thats all.

I was using PST 7.2.3 and P2Kseem to work on my V3m before.Would these programs do?

If you have done seem editing succesfully there, sure they'll work.

Wouldnt know for sure, never used p2kseem or pst.

Ah I see. No, those are CDMA programs. Check out this cool guide (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/seemediting.php) on how to seem edit using good old XVI32 and P2K Tools or whichever program you like to get your seems with. :D

Yipppeee Skipppeeee! I got four of the system sounds changed! Thanks !!! ive made a wav for the startup sound. ButIve been having a hard time finding the seem numbers on custom startup wav that makes sense to me. Does anyone have fast access to that seem info? THEN I will be DOOOONE!!! Until my brother recognizes how cool his phone IS and wants us to program in HIS bright ideas.HA! His phone is very cool !
