V3i Urgent help needed.

I have a v3i in which the keypad is not working properly (key 2 typed continuously when flipped open) can someone tell me if this will be fixed with a keypad flex? if yes does anyone have any? will it work with the v3 keypad fix flex. I have actually done that and now the LCD is not displaying anything.

Now my LCD is not working. I have flashed the keypad fix flex for v3 and then my LCD started having problem . It displays blank screen when i flip open. and when its half open, its okay.

The LCD works when i turn my phone into flash mode. I have even flashed my old backup flash file but this did not fix.

I tried flashing a new flash file from http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/down...o=file&id=2432 (R47A_G_08.D9.3DR_REFLASH_JOKER) but i'm getting error when the CG1 is Loading. the screen shows

the error is just a checksum error and it doesn't alter the flashing...that's what i've got to know from M3
if u are flashing with RSD Lite, then the error doesn't make any problem...
and your keypad maybe is damaged, i mean hardware problems..though i'm not very sure

I'm using F&B (Full version) for my flashing. I want to atleast restore it to the previous state in which the LCD is working.

though F&B3 is pretty good...i like it...but most ppl recommend RSD Lite..
so try flashing with RSD Lite first b4 u try doing sumthing to your fone

The flash was successfull. But my problem not fixed yet. I'll try the seem edit as tojof said. will post result soon

Hi, if it doesn't work, most probable the problem is hardware ( keypad flex cable damaged).

i uploaded the seem and now its working. the "2" problem does not come up yet. let me wait for another 1-2 hour and see if it comes back.

mannn!!! for ther was same problem with one of my local frnd and a guy here!!
with the continuous 2 u just hav to do a master reset !!! it fixes this !!
my personal experience!!
u just went too far!!
