Moto Android in flip phone style?
|
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this!
With all these new Moto Android phones coming out ive noticed they seem to be neglecting the good old flip phone style.
I'd love to see a V6/V9 style Android flip from the big M. But with flips not being very popular these days do you think there is no chance for a Moto Android flip?
Just looking for people's thoughts on the subject!

A lot of what Android is about is wide touchscreen phones. Usually flips don't have that kind of capability.
With that said, I've seen rumors that the "Ruby," or RAZR3, will have Android, but that's mostly speculation.

I really hope Ruby goes into production. If not Android a "refreshed" version of Synergy will do.
I believe there is a market for modern flip phones, beyond myself of course!

They still can put the touch sensitive screen to the outside of the phone.
It would be good.
Inside still has the T9 Keyboard.
Flip phone is really beautiful.

Oh please no, Synergy should be dumped asap. It's a major reason people havent been buying Moto phones (imo). The OS, even though fast on the new P2K05 phones lacks many features other phones have (SE, Nokia). It's a shame Moto dropped MagX, it wouldve been nice to continue it for non-android phones. Honestly, i cant see a bright future for Synergy

Synergy isn't that bad. Sometimes people look for a simple and fast phone. The new P2K05 is simply fast and easy to operate. Magx seems so slow comparing with Synergy. No copy, cut and paste function is the major drawbacks for Magx. Synergy has the copy, cut, paste functions and EMS-enabled. A teen user will need this.
I think Moto should put Synergy on a low-mid phones. Leaving Magx is a good choice for Moto as Magx also has a low RAM. The OS lacks some developer supports. The latest Magx I own is ZN5 and I'm so dissapointed as it's so slow for a 532 mhz processors.
Android OS seems having a brighter future.

Well, but we have 573,769+ people thinking otherwise. And there are a lot more scattered out there. Wish I could bring em all here
Android represents flexibility, the good old "no strings attached" philosophy. If you can program, you're free. (And not glued to some app store )

I would love to see razr3 with android loaded. 2.4 inch internal, 2.2 inch full touchscreen 16million colors display,5mp autofocus cam,radio,4gb internal memory, wifi, hspda and other basic specs with good design will sell great.

I would love to see that, too. But I think people in general are tired of the RAZR design.

Well they have fortunately cancelled uiq and magx. Synergy never been used on hightech phones. So if they release razr3,it will definitly be a droid multimedia centric fashion phone.
