hello, im new to the v9 and wasnt aware you could modify it. how do you get the mod applications on the phone? do you go online with the phone somehow and download it or do it on the pc and put it on the micro card? what and where do you get the mod program?

You will need to use a USB cable to connect your phone to your pc. You will also need to install the USB driver.
You will need to use the mentioned software that's mentioned in the guide for the desired mod. |

Has anyone found a way to personalise the operater tag on V9 yet? Its annoying me and i really want to change it. Just go my Dark pearl gray V9.

You change it the same way you did in other phones with one additional step.
1. You edit the /a/plmn_text_table.bin to say what you'd like.
2. You set the phone to read the operator tag from the phone and not the sim. To do this, edit seem 0032, offset 51, and set bit 3 to 0.
Restart phone and your custom operator tag should appear on in place of AT&T.  |

  HELP!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR HOURS TO PUT SKINS ON MY V9 (UK BLACK VERSION )AND IT JUST DOESN'T WANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TE3LL ME TO USE DOWNLOADS, BEEN THERE, DONE THAT GOT AS FAR AS DOWNLOADING BUT KEEPS TELLING ME NO FREE SPACE AVAILABLE 0! 1468635 30kb RESERVED. Seven MP v2.1 changes the default text input to T9. How can I make standard text input "ABC1"? Having trouble with this, please help!
