Better Browser for V3Re ?

I want to replace the browser in my phone with a better one. The standard T-Mobile browser sucks! Is the Opera the best way to go, and do I just install it as a Java applet? I am afraid to do a Monster pack on the V3Re because of some warning posts I have read about problems bricking with the V3Re, so can I just add an alternate browser. I did do the MotoSpeed mod and it made a noticeable difference, so I think I can figure out how to add an app if I just knew which one was the best to go with for an improved browser.

Yea Opera is the best way to go and to install the java app i belive you use moto midiman

I did use Midiman successfully! Now to just get my service working! I guess I am only subscribed to the WAP version because I can't get an internet connection at home and the help section on Opera's website talks about setting up Access points, etc... I just want to replace the clunky browser on my phone.
