MotoSpeed and V3Re R3442A_G_OE

Here is how I used MotoSpeed version I d/l'ed from http://zolookas.googlepages.com/MotoSpeed.7z
on the Flexed version that V34ME recently upload.

First, I used F&B 3.06 to select CG15 (note: I use Profile for V3_06, otherwise I got critical error after making jump following loader) and saved it as a .smg file.
Then opened that file with MotoSpeed to edit the settings. I reduced each number about 75% for the ones that had a description, left the unknown ones alone because I am chicken , saved the file from Motospeed and reopened it from F&B and uploaded it! That simple! Most noticeable difference from my perspective is that when I scroll through my phone directory list (I use picture view) the refresh is much improved.

This seems like a pretty straight forward enough procedure. At some point I'm going to have to give it a shot. Next on my list is unlocking the phone. With the mods we have already done to correct what T-Mobile disabled, and with it unlocked, I can then make the MP we talked about. After that I'm going to try this motospeed stuff. It seems like you've noticed some good improvements, so I'm looking forward to trying some of it. So what are your plans after this, or are you now where you want to be? After some speed adjustments I plan on adding a few skins, once the community has figured that out for this model, and then I'll be happy...well a happy as one gets. My personality never lets me let well enough alone. There is always some new computer part, or electronic thing, or something for the engine bay of my car.

Well, I have been playing around with deleting some obviously un-needed files like skins and wall-papers I will never use. Did buy me about .5M more space. Thinking of trying to get rid of all the IM stuff, since I don't use that right now at all.

BTW: anyone know how I can re-define my "World" key to launch Opera instead of T-Mobile slug?

Remaping the browser key for Opera would be a great mod. I have my right soft key set for Opera right now, but the browser key would be great if we can find a way to do it.
