To delete, or not to delete

Hi, I have a razr V3re (s/w version R3422A_G_0e.43.08R) and using p2k deleted an alkali skin and from there on everything went wrong. Thankfully i was able to flash and fix the problem.

To avoid another mistake, can anybody point me out to a guide as to knowing what is safe to delete, or what isn't safe? I do remember someone posting a link regarding this on another thread but i cant find it.

I was able to delete all but one skin (glow) from my Tmo v3re just today using skiman. No problems that I see.

I also deleted all of the stock jpg and gif files that appear in the pictures folder using M-Explorer

You will find the what is okay to delete guide in the Guides section at the top of the forum.

The other thing you should do is search the forum for 'V3re' and then read what you find. There is a lot of information here but you have to seek it out, it is way more than I could link you to.
