Click here if MotoMidMan says "Unsupported Platform. Can't Continue" 27-apr-07
Hello good modding people. This guide is mostly aimed to help people that have flashed their V3i & L6 to chinese firmware, to convert them in V3ie & L6i. This is also confirmed to work in the V3t & the KRAZR K1, and Triplets phones (yes, they are old, but MotoMidMan doesnt list them)
It's a very simple issue to solve, wont take you more than 2-3 minutes.
First, locate the folder where MotoMidMan is.
Then, locate a file called "MotoMidMan.ini"
Open it and locate a line that says:
Mode2 = R4513 R4515 R3511 R479 R47A R4517 R478 R444LH2 R44419 R3512
And simply, at the very end of this line write your firmware prefix.
For example, in the V3ie, the firmware prefix is R4441D (you can know what yours is if you press *#9999#
After adding your firmware, the result should be
Mode2 = R4513 R4515 R3511 R479 R47A R4517 R478 R444LH2 R44419 R3512 R4441D
*** please note that the ini file used here belongs to Motorola Midlets Manager v0.62.1YEAR, newer versions of this program might have more firmware prefixes listed, just make sure that yours is on this list ***
After doing the necessary changes, save the file, close it, and proceed to open MotoMidMan.
And there, problem solved.
Oh yeah, some of you might still ahve issues. Try putting the new firmware prefix in lines 2 & 5. Thanks to turnerosage for the idea

It should work... so far i've tested this with my V3i converted to v3ie and a L6 converted to L6i
Anyways, nothing bad will happen if it doesnt work.

If you mean DRM files, you must flash them using RSD Lite, or Flash&backup 3, but i prefer the first one
