Modding the L6.
by kaiserlino
As l6 doesn't have native skin support we will use p2kmenueditor and p2ktools to simulate a little skin.
Also will be needed the icons that we want in the menus (can be from a real skin)
P2KMENUEDITOR
P2kTools
P2kMENU EDITOR:- Open up the program.
- Connect the phone to the usb cable
- Open Menu
- Open From Phone
- After the menu order show up we will edit these items:

The red arrow shows up the normal icon(not selected)
Blue arrow shows up the selected icon
Green aroow shows up the name of the icon.
We go to View Style: Icon and choose the folder we want to save. (I did a/mobile/picture/, but there is no problem to be another one)

After we chose the folder we place the icon name (*.gif) [i choose ag.gif to the phonebook and ags.gif to the phonebook when selected

OPTIONAL
I change the Caption value to be as i want to show up the name (KAIGENDA,hehe)

When we are set up we go to the end of the screen and click on apply to save our work:

REPEAT THAT FOR EACH DIFERENT ITEM FROM MENU WE WANT TO CHANGE THE ICON
When all setup click on SAVE TO PHONE:

P2ktools:- Open up p2ktools
- REFRESH
- go to the folder we selected on the second image (/a/mobile/picture/)

Now we click UPLOAD and choose all gifs that will be our icons
(ag.gif,ags.gif and all the others)
After that we click on RESTART...
Now we almost have a little skin using this guide and the one of the colors schemes found here!
