Installing New MV Skin.

Step 1
Open your MediaViewerApplet.jar using WinRAR.
Right-click on file, then select Open With.. WinRAR



Step 2

Double-click on MediaViewer folder.

Skin will be install at mvgraph & tempSkinData folder.

Step 3

Browse mvgraph folder by double-click on it.

Now, open your skin to be install on MV.
Select all files for your new skin, drag it on mvgraph folder that you open with WinRAR, just overwrite an old files.



After that, go up so that you can browse back to root of MediaViewer folder.



Select tempSkinData folder by double-click it. Copy file SkinData.mvs from your new skin to tempSkinData that you open using WinRAR, just overwrite it.



After all files been copied and overwrite, just close WinRAR. All modification will be automatically saved.

Step 4

Now, you need to know new MediaViewerAppler.jar file size. To get new size, you'll need JADMaker program.

First, you need to backup your old MediaViewerApplet.jad file. Create new folder name banckup, then put your old jad file in it.

Open JADMaker program, just drag your newly edited MediaViewerApplet.jar into JADMaker window. New MediaViewerApplet.jad will be created.



Step 5

Open newly created MediaViewerApplet.jad using notepad. Search for MIDlet-Jar-Size value. Copy it/take note of new value. Delete jad file after you got the new jar size value.



Open old MediaViewerApplet.jad on backup folder, edit it using notepad. Search for value MIDlet-Jar-Size, replace old value with new value that you got from previous step.



Save MediaViewerApplet.jad file.
Copy MediaViewerApplet.jad file to same location with MediaViewerApplet.jar, then to install newly edited MV with new skin, use that jad file.
