53. Select "Tools" from the menu bar, and "Bit manipulation" from the
drop down menu to get the "Bit Manipulation" window. Make sure that
Bit 0 is checked and then click "Set."
54. Now save SEEM 0032_0001 by clicking "File" from the menu bar and "Save" from
the drop down menu.
55. Minimize XV132
and maximize P2K
Manager so we can put our edited SEEMs back on the phone.
Type 004a in the "Seem" box and 0001 in the "rec" box and click "Upload
seem."
56. Now do the same thing with SEEM 0032_0001.
57. Now click "Restart phone" and you're done uploading your edited
SEEMs back to your phone.
59. On the left side of P2K
Commander, navigate to your skins folder that holds the
custom startup and shutdown animations and sounds. In this example,
we'll be selecting the custom startup and shutdown animations and
sounds from the MModders skin.
60. Let's find the sound files first by navigating to the
Cust_Start~up.mp3 and Power~down.mp3 files in the audio folder of the
MModders skin directory.
61. Now navigate to the audio folder on your phone and select and
highlight both Cust_Start~up.mp3 and Power~down.mp3 and select delete
(remember that if you want to save these files for possible future use,
you should back them up by copying them to a directory on your
computer).
62. P2K
Commander will ask you to confirm the deletions.
63. After confirming the deletions P2K
Commander will delete the files. You can check, but they
won't be there.
64. Copy your new custom audio files to your phone by selecting and
highlighting both Cust_Start~up.mp3 and Power~down.mp3 on the left side
of P2K
Commander. Click the "Copy" button to transfer them to your
phone.
65. Now navigate to the /a/ directory of your phone (right side of P2K
Commander).
66. Delete the custwakeup.gif and custgoodbye.gif files by highlighting
each file and clicking the "Delete" button.
67. You must once again comfirm the deletions.
68. Select your new custwakeup.gif and custgoodbye.gif animations by
highlighting each file on the left side of P2K
Commander and clicking the "Copy" button.
69. You should now be able to see the files on the right side.
70. Click the "Restart" button and try out your new custom shutdown and
startup animations and sounds.
Congratulations! Now go show off your cool Razr to all your
jealous friends.
