Font Creation for the Maxx.

here you go for all those would be font makers here is a short tutorial
first the programs you will need
1: sbf recalc 1.2.4
2: 3G Font Tool
3: fb3.0.4 or rsd lite to flash your phone
step one open sbf recalc navigate to where your mp is located (allways better to have a couple of copies in different folders)
step two open your mp and split it down to code group's
you need to keep in the folder the .hmg, ramdld, and the cg4 lang pack
step 3 minimize sbf recalc and open the 3g font tool
open up the cg4 which will load in german click (sprachen to change language ) when you hae opened the cg4 you will see a list with 3 fonts click the top one then replace on the left hand side of the window now navigate to the folder with your font in click on that then on open this adds your new font to the cg4(language pack)
now click create this will make a new file called neu_CG4
step four this can be done in two ways if you are going to use sbf recalac you now have to place the file neu_CG4 in the folder where the .hmg, ramdld, and original cg4 file are now move your original cg4 file to your desktop double click it slowly so that all the text is highlighted now right click and copy the text
go back to the folder with your neu_CG4 file do the same again but this time when you right click paste instead of copy
you should now have something like this in your folder
R26117LD_U_98.50.11R_LP0039_DRM1001_NO_BRAND.hmg
R26117LD_U_98.50.11R_LP0039_DRM1001_NO_BRAND-RAMDLD.smg
R26117LD_U_98.50.11R_LP0039_DRM1001_NO_BRAND-CG4.smg
step five open sbf recalc click open cg folder navigate to and choose the folder where the three smg files are click on it the ok
you should now have these files showing in sbf recalc window
at this point dont worry if it shows more than three files click the recalc button and all should be well
now the final step for sbf recalc click either create sbf or shx
when it is done you now have your very own font ready to flash to your phone using fb3 or rsdlite
congratulations
couple of things to remeber fonts made for a vl maxx will only work on a vl
and fonts made for ld version maxx like wise will only work on the ld maxx
