Branding Your Skin

actually, this is an old an almost forgettable method of "branding"
but, never mind... here's the trick:
open ur skin in S4M
go to the right panel and find softkey on idle normal and pressed
and the set both images (one normal and the other pressed) location
i prefer in your skin name directory
(this just like setting ur wallpaper location)
it doesn't have to be named softkey_idle_blablabla.gif..
you could name it anything....
and then save the skin.
Upload just the ski file (thats why i prefer p2ktools on installing skins)
and the two files (the new softkey button) in your skin dir
just do refresh, do not restart. (took longer if u restart)
open motokit or other seem editor
edit the seem 0032_0001 offset 6E bit 1 set it on
now restart ur phone, and your phone will look like the screenshot
(attached)
tips:
make the softkey image as the same as ur right softkey menu item
