How to Change the Hellomoto Bootscreen on your L7
by kirklestat
Note: Only works for RSA Removed firmware. To remove your RSA, follow this guide. This is for ABR firmware only. Other firmwares have different location of the Hellomoto image. Don't worry, I will update this guide. I have tested this on my L7 and it worked. I have not tested it on others so do it at your own risk. You are responsible for what you are doing.
1. As usual, extract the bin files from your SHX backup using RandomSHX.
2. Extract the Motorola Bootscreen Replacer zip file to a new folder.
2.5. Now on the Motorola Bootscreen Replacer directory, right click on offset.ini file and open it with notepad.
3. Scroll to the bottom and add exactly what you see on the screenshot.
4. Now open Motorola Bootscreen Replacer and set to "Change image in firmware."
For steps 4 through 8 refer to this screenshot.
5. Open flash file the *2.bin file in your Extracted Bin folder.
6. Change the "Choose flash type and image" to L7 R4513...ABR.
7. Click "Load from file" and select your custom 176x220 bmp file.
8. Click Save Flash.
9. Close Motorola Bootscreen Replacer then recompile your Extracted Bin files with RandomSHX.
10. Take a deep breath, relax, and just flash the new MP using Flash&Backup3.
