HERE is a little package with icons for
replacing in your skin. they are nicely made, seeing as how they are
made by motorola for a r4517 with itunes.
METHOD 1 (VERY EASY)
1) delete all the shortcuts on your phone, except your iTunes one
2) download your mma_ucp from your phone and convert it according to my little tutorial:
3) open p2k menu editor, navigate to office tools, and highlight the shortcuts.
4) over on the right side of the program's screen, type into the "primary caption": iTunes
Hit apply
5) save the mma_ucp and convert it back to the format for the slvr, load it back onto the phone, and restart that sucker
6) then on the phone set either your right or left soft-key to “shortcuts”.
you gotta hit it twice, but I like it much better than menu+5
METHOD 2 (INVOLVES SOME WORK)
1) Follow METHOD 1 up to step 5. then…
2) obtain the software: MotoSkin Version 0.1.8
3) you must have a copy of the skin you wish to put “iTunes” in, on your computer.
4) open the skin with MotoSkin, and open the image explorer
5) navigate to #829 and replace it with its respective icon from
the download package, or your own iTunes icon with dimensions according
to the width and height in motoskin
6) navigate to #880 and replace it with its respective icon from
the download package, or your own iTunes icon with dimensions according
to the width and height in motoskin
7) navigate to #931 and replace it with its respective icon from
the download package, or your own animated iTunes icon with dimensions
according to the width and height in motoskin
8) hit save, and upload the skin to your phone.
9) once again using the mma_ucp convert guide, place shortcuts in any menu on the phone. Now instead, you will have iTunes.
Sorta…
SOME NOTES:
<>you can, if you want,
edit the shortcut for iTunes, and make it #1 instead of #5. this way,
if you want to add any more shortcuts, iTunes will remain at the top.
now for some screenshots:
i really do have r4513
