Guide for patching System Sounds for R44419 firmware:
1. Download
System sound 4.0.2.
2. Extract CG1, CG3, CG7, CG18 using F&B 3.0.2 or 3.0.3.
3. Then use shxcodec to split your .shx file that you extracted from F&B 3.0.3.
4. Open SysSound.
Change language to english.
Click cutting off of emptiness for every name or sound you created.
After every cutting emptiness, you will see:
Set focus on the name of sounds you want to change, then the browse button will light up.
Click browse at Replace on box, and replace with yours. You can edit your WAV using WAV sound software (you can use the stock sound recorder from windows) the WAV file quality must be 8khz, 8 bits and mono.
Repeat for others name of sounds. You can click play to preview the sounds.
When you're finished, click REPLACE/REMOVE
Wait 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your computer.
It will be saved as an .fpa file
Now open F&B 3.0.3
On the firmwares, select your backup. Then click on apply patches, select the fpa and click on save as .shx.
Then Flash it using F&B 3.0.2 or 3.0.3 no other versions than those two because you will get a critical error when you flash it using RSD or lower versions of F&B.
To activate your system sounds you need to edit your seems:
Offset 82 bit 6 - “WAV_UI_AVAILABLE” - “KEYTONE” (check it)
Offset 6D bit 6 - “INTERPRETE_KEY_PRESS_AVAILABLE” (check it)
Or use P2k Tools and click Hidden Settings and just check those offsets above.
WARNING: BE SURE THAT THE FPA FILES YOU PATCHED ARE FOR YOUR FIRMWARES BECAUSE IF YOU PATCH AN INCOMPATIBLE ONE IT MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE
