How To Backup With Flash & Backup 3

By kirklestat

This is for R3443U2 OA.52 and R4515 OA.40 V3r's.

For R3443U2, download the R3443U2.rar, put the *.ldr file in your Loaders folder and the *.prof file in your Profiles folder in Random Developments directory.

Open Flash&Backup3 and select R3443U2_V3r on the Active phone profile. Voila!

For R4515, download R4515.rar, and put the *.ldr file in your Loaders folder and the *.prof file in your Profiles folder in Random Developments directory.

Open Flash&Backup3 and select R4515_V3r on the Active phone profile. Voila!

It has been my experience that some of the problems with Flash&Backup 3 with the v3r R4515 can be solved by NOT checking the "cut empty bytes at the end of code groups."
The only thing this does is make the file a little smaller.
RSD_Lite seems to be sensitive about file size. Easy Tools 3.9 is not. When I was working on backing up a v3r, I found that if you checked the "cut empty bytes at the end of code groups" I could flash the phone with Easy Tools 3.9, but not RSD_Lite.
I know that others say it doesn't make any difference, but my experience is that it does.
